BRENDAN RODGERS DESERVES PLAUDITS FOR LEICESTER FORM
Brendan Rodgers's effect at Leicester has been one of delight and excitement as the former Liverpool manager has turned the club to a formidable outfit. Famed for his attacking brand of football, it has been an excellent start to his time at the King Power stadium. His departure from Celtic was far from ideal but the comforts in Scotland never seemed like something that Rodgers relished. He had won everything at the club and completed an unprecedented unbeaten season with the club.
Leicester's previous coach Claude Puel was a good manager as he brought through the likes of Wilfred Ndidi and Maddison. His style of game was tepid and it was no surprise that Leicester fans began to demand for more from their team. His relationship with Jamie Vardy was also a key point as the much loved forward became tired of the defensive approach of the team.
Rodgers's arrival was a breath of fresh air and the former Swansea coach has been able to implement his style on the team. Able to mix their famous counterattacking style with a possession-based game, Leicester have emerged as different beasts.

Maddison has grown in his ability on the ball while Ndidi is arguably the best defensive midfielder in the League. The attack has also been revamped with Jamie Vardy back to his best for the club. The veteran forward has been able to thrive with excellent through passes from the talented midfield. Belgium ace YouriTielsmann has been sensational since his move from Monaco in January. The next step would be to qualify for Europe and then compete to enter the top six places. If there is any coach capable of achieving this feat, Rodgers will be one of the first names on the list. It remains to be seen whether Leicester can continue in this rich vein of form.
